BLACK, Martha

Mrs. Martha M. Black died at the residence of
her daughter, Mrs. Carrie B. Waltz, on June 1, 1894, of old age after a long
sickness in the 84th year of her age. Deceased was one of the
pioneer residents of Putnam County and was loved and esteemed not only by the
relatives but also by a very large circle of friends and acquaintances. The funeral took place from the residence of
Mrs. Carrie B. Waltz on Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. - kbz
